The illustrated work The treasures of the University of Barcelona, ​​designed to disseminate the bibliographic and historical heritage of the University, shows some of the most noteworthy books of the CRAI Library Reserve fund, most of which are from the convents of the University of Barcelona. Starting with a collection of more than two thousand manuscripts, almost one thousand incunabula and one hundred and twenty thousand printed from the sixteenth century to the year 1820, this book brings together sixty-five works profusely illustrated and commented by specialists in different Subjects such as literature, math, gastronomy, travel and natural sciences. With examples of manuscripts, incunabula and printed, the treasures of the University of Barcelona have been offering books since 1343, such as the Libre dels feyts de Jaume I, until 1794, as the principal work of Adam Smith, Research of nature and Causes of the wealth of nations. This volume of The Treasures of the University of Barcelona, ​​which includes both Spanish and English versions, represents a major work of culture and knowledge.
